Description
Imagine heading home with a cooler full of fresh venison and the confidence to do it again on your own.
Whether you're a first-time hunter or someone looking to sharpen your skills, our Whitetail Hunting Skills Culinary Camp hosted on 3000 acres at Oklahoma Trophy Ranch is designed to teach you the complete journey from field to table.
Over the course of an immersive extended weekend, you'll learn every step of the process:
- Shoot with confidence.
- Field dress and butcher your own deer.
- Package meat for your freezer.
- Transform every cut into incredible meals.
This isn't a guided hunt. It's a hands-on educational experience that equips you with skills you'll use for the rest of your life.
Hosted at Oklahoma Trophy Ranch, you'll experience authentic Oklahoma whitetail deer hunting while enjoying comfortable lodging and outstanding meals prepared by our professional chefs.
Before stepping into the hunting blind, our experienced shooting instructors will ensure you're safe, comfortable, and confident behind the rifle. Then it's time to put those skills to work as you hunt whitetail does.
After the hunt, the learning continues. Our expert butcher will walk you through breaking down your deer into practical cuts, teaching proper meat care, packaging, and freezer storage so you can maximize every pound of venison.
Each evening, you'll join our chefs in the kitchen for hands-on cooking demonstrations featuring the day's harvest. You'll learn how to prepare different cuts using techniques you can recreate at home, giving you the knowledge to serve exceptional wild game to family and friends.
By the time camp ends, you'll leave with far more than packaged venison. You'll have a complete understanding of the field-to-table process, from shooting and hunting to butchering, cooking, and preserving meat. The skills you gain can be applied not only to whitetail deer but to many other wild game species you'll pursue in the future.
If you've ever dreamed of becoming a more capable, self-sufficient hunter, this is where that journey begins.

Oklahoma Resident Hunters
Oklahoma residents will need to have a valid resident deer hunting license.
